FHS 2025 Summer Reading and Learning

All FHS students, including all incoming ninth graders, have required reading and writing assignments due on the first day of school. The Summer Reading lists for English classes include a variety of authors and types of books which take into account the diversity of our student body. Please encourage your student to read quietly for at least 20 minutes a day.  To help you choose your book, you can read student-written reviews of the books from each grade's reading list.

The Framingham High School Library will be open for print book checkout during mornings in July while the Summer Institute is in session, or digitally on FHS's e-book/audiobook platform, Sora.  Books are also available in print format at the Framingham Public Library, and digitally on library-provided digital platforms Overdrive and Hoopla.
