The Fine and Performing Arts Department challenges students both creatively and academically and approaches each course with an eye towards hands on learning in the hopes of creating students with a life- long passion for the arts as a part of the global world. Within well-equipped art studios, a state of the art theatre, professional quality music rooms and keyboard labs, students explore a wide variety of arts techniques and approaches. Serious art students have the opportunity to work towards acceptance for admission to a variety of college arts programs while curious art students are introduced to an array of techniques particular to that individual art. All students develop an appreciation for the fundamental and integral tenants of all the art forms.
