History of Our School Name
Traces back to Framingham Academy (established 1792) and later Framingham Academy and High School. In 1963, due to population growth, the town split its secondary education into Framingham North High School (Spartans) and Framingham South High School (Flyers). In 1991, declining enrollment led the town to re-consolidate the schools into a single Framingham High School on the former North High campus.
