FHS - On the Plus Side (Week Ending August 28th)

On the Plus Side

...is a simple reminder of some of the positive events that happen at Framingham High School every week. #flyerpride

FHS Chemistry
This summer, Ms. HaLevi (FHS Chemistry teacher) was accepted to Harvard University's Bite-Sized Science program. In this 2 week program, she learned how to teach chemistry through food and cooking. Food offers unique opportunities for students to connect science to their everyday lives and to engage in science in inclusive and relevant ways.

College and Career Center
Over the summer, the College and Career Center hosted its first College Essay Boot Camp for rising seniors. Students worked on brainstorming topics, developing personal essays, and building strong college application stories.

AP Business with Personal Finance
AP Business with Personal Finance is *COOKING* Our first collaborative project is a Cookie Business.

Foundations of Spanish Language and Culture

Students in our Foundations of Spanish Language and Culture A class kicked off the school year on a strong note with an interactive gallery walk! Students moved around the classroom to learn about and review important school policies and expectations. This engaging activity gave students the opportunity to work together, ask questions, and build a strong foundation for a successful school year.

AP Environmental Science
In late August, students from the 2025-2026 AP Environmental Science class went canoeing to celebrate their great work on the exam! It was a beautiful, relaxing day on the water at Mass Audubon Wachusett Meadow.

FHSDC Fall Show - Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time
FHSDC fall show - Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. Auditions were held on Wednesday of this week. The first FHS Drama Company meeting will be Monday at 2:00pm.

FHS School Counseling

This school year we are welcoming more than 40 new students from other school districts into our FHS community.

Starting at a new school can be both exciting and a little overwhelming, so we are especially happy to have these students joining our Flyers family. From meeting new classmates and teachers to getting involved in clubs, activities, athletics, and everything else FHS has to offer, we hope each of our new students quickly feels at home.

To all of our new students: Welcome to Framingham High School! We’re so glad you’re here, and we can’t wait to see all that you’ll bring to our community Once a Flyer, always a Flyer!

Class of 2030

We are excited to officially welcome the Class of 2030 to Framingham High School! As our newest Flyers begin their high school journey, we are thrilled to have them join our incredible FHS community. The next four years will be filled with new experiences, opportunities, friendships, challenges, and memories. We can’t wait to see all that the Class of 2030 will accomplish along the way.

Please Note

This is not meant to be a comprehensive list as we have so many great events happening at FHS.....each week different events, activities and groups will be highlighted.
