Magical Realism Comes to Life in Dual Language ACP2 |
Students in Dual Language ACP2 are beginning a creative writing project inspired by Laura Esquivel’s Como agua para chocolate and the elements of Magical Realism.
Students are creating their own family recipes, connecting each one to a special memory and adding an imaginative magical twist. It is a creative way to explore storytelling, culture, family traditions, and emotion.

FHS Drama Company at the American Repertory Theater |
On Wednesday evening, members of the FHS Drama Company attended the American Repertory Theater’s production of Rhinoceros, starring Paul Giamatti, John Turturro, and Tatiana Maslany.
It was a great opportunity for students to experience professional theater and see celebrated performers bring the stage to life.

Unified Hoops Tips Off the Season |
The Unified Hoops Blue vs. White Scrimmage brought plenty of excitement to the FHS Open House, including a buzzer-beater layup from Raf Banks #41 to end the game in a 28-28 tie!
The Flyers are ready to officially tip off their season Monday at Natick High School.

Building Financial Skills in Consumer Math |
Students in Consumer Math played the “Bank Account Game” to practice writing checks, making deposits, and keeping track of a checkbook register.
The goal was to be the first player to reach a $5,000 balance. Congratulations to Ryan on taking the win!

Exploring Brazilian Culture in Portuguese Heritage 3 |
Students in Portuguese Heritage 3 explored Brazilian identity and culture through the life and work of writer Jorge Amado.
After reading his biography and conducting additional research, students created Instagram-style profile posters highlighting his life, work, and contributions to Brazilian culture.
